added fire dmg or light dmg?

i have a skill with 9157 to 18090 fire dmg and 5 to 300 light dmg, and i have this ring that i can enchant with add 36-39 light dmg or add 20-26 fire dmg my question it's what enchant will give me more power in my skill?

depends. Depends on if you have any "increased fire damage" or "increased lightning damage" elsewhere on your equipment or passive tree. Also depends on what skill you're using. Is it a spell or an attack?

it's ancestral warchief, and i only have the skill gem added fire dmg support and a couple of passives of my ascendancy, but the ascendancy i'll change it latter
