When to start collecting rings/amulets

This is my first go through of POE I've tried to find as much information as I can to make my first try as reasonable as it can be. I've seen videos of people crafting a million things with rings and as such I've picked up and horded every ring/amulet since level 1. Now my stash is full of rings and I just want to get rid of them all. I'm only like level 55, still in Cruel. Do I need to bother with this stuff or can I purge it all?

You may want to hang onto a few decent rares (If you have any) that you have for new toons you make for leveling purposes, but other than that, get rid of it all. The higher the ILvl the better the stats are that can roll.
When you get a bit bigger and can hang onto some stuff, it's the level 80 + rings that you really want to craft once you can do those higher tier maps. Basically, look at the mods you want, look at the ILvl that they can roll..decide from there (Ex. ILvl 74 rings can roll the Resplendent mod which gives 44-47 ES). http://poeaffix.net/index.html Go there ^^. Some really useful information about affixes.
