Yes, but you have to get there first, plenty of chaos damage on the way there :)

Seems like no one here played closed/open beta higher tiers.
Seeying that 95% got no char higher than 90 and only sc chars completes the assumption. :)

btw a lot of hc players sure stack chaos res, since it is super easy to get rolling with only 1-2 piece of gear to make you a lot more tanky vs vul and high chaos hits.
Atziris Flaks is also one of the all time runners in most Builds.

I know Im just a super filthy casual scumbag but always felt having good chaos res helped a lot.

I wore that one robe taht gave consecrated ground on block which had a healthy chunk of chaos res in normal dif. hard dif chaos was a real bitch to find decent gear to fit in. but on merc I managed to score a mings heart in trade which negated the entire penalty for merc, and have me a few uniques Im after like cospri's garb which should compliment my gear kit nicely for abit more. and have 2 different unique helms with healthy amounts Im debating which one fits my current build best to use. since Im not big on cast on death I am leaning more toward a geofris helm since it is a solid peice of quad res gear.

Funny enough where I love it most is in random pvp. as I tend to use viper strike and bleed on hit weapons to wear down others and all my flask remove burning, freezing, bleeding, or burning, making me nearly dot and el effect proof.

Many seem to just take for granted that chaos and bleed are not a big threat due to pve and forget it entirely in pvp defense kits.

That new Doedre fight looks like more Chaos/Poison damage.

I am somewhat concerned with this trend.

I actually love the idea of chaos resist.

It will make it a lot harder to min max toons.


Can you craft Chaos resist?.

I don't think you can and that will make chaos resist more valuable.
