Fall Of Oriath Supporter Pack MTX Design

I'm just being realistic.

Out of curiosity, how old are you?

You are not being realistic, you are being not pragmatic, and delusional at best.
And that is none of your business, if you need that kind of "information" on an internet forum of a video game ....
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I had no intention of offending you.

My point is at some point GGG will realize they're losing out on a ton of money by not allowing older Supporter Pack purchases. All good things come to an end. There are moments of opportunity where people are more than willing to buy. But those moments in time don't last forever. People come and go.

You really think GGG will only be working on Path of Exile for the next 50 years? Even World of Warcraft has less players every year.

No worries, I have just seen that often around here used for ... other means.

The exclusivity is one of the things that made those packs attractive in the past, when you buy the pack ... that is part of it, and you can't remove that without pissing some of the former buyers of.

This is why, they need to make good new supporter packs if anything.

Less players doesn't mean you're doing bad. You'll always have a peak of players at some point and the only way to go from there is down. That doesn't mean you're failing, it means the "Golden Age" has passed. It's a logical phenomenon.

GGG, unlike many others, is a company that truly flies the banner of fairness. No old supporter has any unlisted benefits or privileges, no matter how much they've spent. And likewise, no new player will ever have the chance at old exclusives, no matter how much they are willing to spend on them.

It's a principle, a stance, and a truly unique one in today's world of gaming. It's also a promise they made to us. If they ever go back on that promise, Oriath will likely not be the only thing falling...

Learn to quote. And to spell. Like, literally, the word is spelled correctly right there...

Anyway, you're missing the point entirely. They didn't spend supporter money or resources on XBOX, it's a project on the side. It is a result of the success of Path of Exile on PC that allowed this branch project to be born. It can only do two things. Fail, and nothing will happen to Path of Exile, or succeed and bring in more money to help develop the game.

Either way, it'll always bring in experience, because developing a console game is an entirely difference process than PC and as a result, we might see some unique things come out of it that bring new interesting mechanics to PC that would have otherwise never been (accidentally) discovered or thought of.

Lastly, it doesn't seem like you have anything to worry about when it comes to where supporter money goes, so leave that to those who do, alright?
