Grand Spectrum 954 % Ele dmg 156 % ES Skill Tree setup

So I have been working on Grand Spectrum build that picks up total 15 jewel slots filling them with 4 % Ele damage Grand Spectrum jewels which gives total 900 % ele damage. For defenses the tree manages to get 156 % ES + CI from the tree which sounds little low. It also gets ~ 80 % ele and spell damage from pathing and ~ 50 % more ES from 300+ int from pathing. Also Zealots oath and some little life regen.

Was thinking about going with Assassin ascendancy class since it can pretty much get free crit without much investment in the tree and it sounds like fun having insanely OP damage instead just OP damage. Reflect becomes massive problem with such setup so transitioning in to totems is a must at some point likely.

For gear picking full ES pieces. For weapon Ephemeral Edge for 50 % more ES as there is no much point picking % damage on weapon since you already have massive damage. It also gives nice 50 % global crit.

Wondering about what spells to use? Perhaps Cold to Fire converted Vortex to double dip damage with massive dots? Also not sure if the ES will be too low? Not much budget left after buying the Spectrums.

Sounds pretty inefficient going crit with something like this, since you're probably passing up juicy crit notables, and power charges just in order to get more jewel sockets. Elementalist seems like the obvious choice (reflect protection + good noncrit scaling).

Skill choice depends on what you want to focus on. Best clear speed skills are pretty much figured out. Avoid skills that require jewels to function, so no Fireball, EK, Vaal skills etc. This leaves bows (like, Explosive Arrow, Doomfletch's Prism or Lioneye's Glare with Signal Fire) and maybe Flameblast Totems (though that doesn't really require Spectrums since you can get a lot of double dipping damage on totem jewels anyway). Walking build with the Abberath boots is another option, but the aoe nerf probably hurt that one quite a bit.

For bosses, Vaal RF should be able to delete most of them (especially with conflux). But simpler single target setups will deal with them pretty well (EA weapon swap, Flameblast etc.).

My 2c.
