Vaal Pact for Summoner Witch

Hi, does this Life Leech Thingy "Vaal Pact" (in Skill Tree) work for my Summoner Witch? I mean i don't hit the monsters by myself.

Only hits that you deal damage with yourself will leech to you. There is a helmet that gives leech from minions to you, but I assume that isn't what you are talking about. Unless you are also dealing damage yourself, Vaal Pact is not a good choice for a summoner, as it removes your regen.
