Tell me why I should play this game

I am looking forward to getting in the game world once it finishes downloading. However I am really confused about character skills and gear to say the least. So basically tell me why I should look forward to this game and never look back at the likes of D3, I am a hardcore player long journey grind it out purist btw.

After you play PoE awhile you should quickly see the contrasts.

On the plus side:
1. Super huge variety of builds based around 7 character classes.
2. Super huge passive tree to further increase build diversity.
3. Ascendancy sub-classes for another layer of power building.
4. Depth of backstory to create a more immersive playing experience.
5. A closer level of dev communication support.
6. Not your typical 1 playthrough and done or even a few months and done arpg.
7. New leagues every 3 months.
8. Whole new acts about every year. This year the jump to PoE 3.0.0 is going to
blow us away with a full 10 acts (5 x 2, yes some of the 2nd half are the same
zones but with new tilesets and changes they won't feel as repetitive).
9. Atlas of Worlds (while not perfect) is a better way to support the leveling
progress in endgame mapping on the road toward level 100 than just straight
up map grinding without any focus.
10. Game community is best of any arpg. While in-game help is limited the player
    community help is tops.

On the minus side:
1. Server side simulation overload leads to poor performance and lag.
2. No good way to trade (yes, trade chat is crap... those who like it the way it
currently is are in the minority).
3. This arpg, because of the pluses of #1, #2, and #3 PoE will never be able to be
properly balanced. We'll continue to see from time to time extreme DPS builds that
throw game balance out the window. Being able to trivialize content is never good.
4. Trading is still a pain in the ass. (At least it hasn't crashed and burned like D3 did).
5. Extreme and brutal RNG for most players to deal with. This extends to everything that
drops and especially trying to craft gamble items. Not surprisingly most of
the fanboys are pretty much no-lifers extreme time players (arpg addicts).
6. Frequent new leagues with new features leads to more bugs/playing problems.
7. One-shot boss death trap mechanics ruins playing hardcore. Playing softcore is also
fraught with one shot bosses that periodically frustrate our play session.
8. Because of #7 and #3 power creep is off the rails (which makes #1 worse).
9. Super small dev. team means QoL features are few.
10. GGG front man (C.W.) frequently likes to pretend that "it's not happening" when a
major problem occurs that needs immediate attention/fixing (like bugs that are
exploited to get rich quick or double/triple dipping to create 1 million+ DPS builds).
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat:
