Random zone lag.

Hello,

Since about last Saturday i have been having these random zone lag issues and im not sure why they suddenly have started.
I actually made a 3 minute youtube video (which ill put the link below) to show you guys this issue, but it seems i am not the only person experiencing this.

https://youtu.be/Nwoo9653iKo

I have restarted my router twice since Saturday, and it still happens.
I am using an Ethernet cord, and Frontier internet.
But it just started doing this over the weekend, and i feel since the start of the league, and a little before i have put some good time into this game and this just started happening and i haven't had an issue at all until now.

The weird thing is, it seems to trigger randomly, even on the same IP's, for example i show in the video how i go in and out of a map, and trigger the lag, then i go into the Client.txt doc and show that the IP's haven't actually changed in between zoning in and out of the map to and from my hideout. But the lag still gets triggered for some reason after multiple times in my hideout without it.

I have tried to use the WinMTR on the actual IP in the Client.txt document and it doesn't work. (EDIT: I figured out how to do this, just remove the port, see the edit below for more information)

But i was able to run it on us.login.pathofexile.com

and from the time i started that small youtube video to now, here is what has been copied to the clipboard.

I have double clicked on all of the different hostnames in the above and none of the IPs that were shown matched the IP's in the Client.txt document.

Thanks for reading and, heres to hoping for help, and/or a fix. I don't want to stop playing your game. :(

Edit:

I figured out that you need to take out the port for the IP to work in WinMTR.
Bearing that in mind, i went back into the game, went to my hideout and Act 4 and changed zones until this triggered again. Once it did i went to the Client.txt document again and came across the IP of 169.53.63.4:6112

I erased the port. And hit start. Here are the results after 10 minutes. I also recorded another video and put it on youtube again, so you can watch WinMTR in action.

At approx. 38 seconds in i leave it up for 9 and a half minutes running for you to watch if you so desire.

Please see this link:

Below is the results from WinMTR, for 169.53.63.4, which is the highgate IP you see in the video.

Same thing happening to me. Just did a t14 Shaped Prom perfectly fine lagfree 50-60 MS the whole time. Just put in a Plateau immediately afterwards it's RIP unplayable. 100-1500 lag spikes non stop. Been happening all league to me and my buddies. It's like russian roulette which one of us is gonna lag on any given map.

Step back into my hideout and boom flat 50-51ms forever. So stupid. Never have I had an issue in any game lagging to death in some zones and being completely fine in others.

Im having the same issue, it's so frustrating, can't play 1 on 2 maps...
Have you tried reentering the same zone/instance after it was laggy?

This works for me! You'll have to use an extra portal for it of course.

Basically I enter a map. If i lag (random chance that I will) I can leave the map and immediately enter the SAME map again. In most of the cases this kills the lag and it runs smooth.

On the flip side, while a map is not lagging, and I happen to leave it for a trade or whatever, and rejoin it, I roll the lag-dice once again and I could suddenly start lagging.
