UAE (emirates) players getting constant disconnections on all gateways, please help.

Hi,

about a week or so before the begining of the legacy league lag spikes and disconnections started occuring to me and all the players that i personaly know. after researching the matter on the forum i found few more players from the same region with the same problim.

i started my thread on the same day the legacy league started with all the information that one of the admins requested of me ( feel free to check my profile .. i only got the one post ) i was given the generic answer of check with ur isp.

i have checked with my isp now more then 5 times and rechecked on all aspects that might cause the issue with no avail.

info:

- ping on all gate way is more or less same values after league start with milan best ping around 110 and london / frankfort second best at 130-220

ps: i play hardcore on ping 220 ever sense i started poe with no problim.

-after i log in i get a stable connection in cities and instances that are not generated by me.. my HO and instances that i start just get ping jump to 1000+ till get disconnected .. usualy i dont get few steps.

- went through all possible solutions with isp and no change occured at all.

- other games i play work perfectly with no lag or jump spikes.

PS: play diablo 3, COD, CO:GO, BF4 and few more here and there. and all work perfectly with no lag.

- all the mentioned above is shared between all the UAE players that i know personaly. ( not many to be honest, we are a group of 4 dudes.)

- few more threads on this forum about players getting the same issue or very close to it.

GGG please look into the matter seriously rather then the generic ( check with ur isp ) reply. ive allready lost so much time on this league and would really like to get back to playing the game again.

In an attempt to get some straight information here let me point out something actually useful from the OP in their history since i know i have replied to them at least once.

This is the thread in which "I" actually responded and remember. Which yes I definitely said that they should check with their ISP because their problems started with their ISP. In the thread they say they checked and their ISP claimed nothing was wrong.

Second hop dose seem to be the culprit, i'm guessing the other 2 with it showing no response are because the test hasn't quite ran for long enough but the one that it displayed have 4k+ ms and that in it's self is pretty close to a DC.

I am too from UAE (Emirates) and im too facing the same exact problem mentioned above.

GGG please look into this issue as we are unable to able at all due to this technical difficulty.

Hoping to get some response atleast
im from egypt,i have the same problem,i cant play it anymore
i choose auto gateway,,but after few seconds i get dc

I am amazed that GGG failing to respond to this issue which has been brought up multiple amount of times/post over the past 2 months.. if i remember correctly the update/patch before the legacy patch towards the end of breach league started this whole freaking mess.. That when all the post in technical forums started popping up from this region.

Before that update this game worked without any issues lags disconnect etc.. So i dont know whether it is really our ISP fault or the GGG update that started this whole mess.. Currently i am using pingzapper to play this game.. But i feel like i am being forced to pay for that vpn service just to play this game only.. Cuzz rest of all the games provided by other companies creating no issues what so ever..

Two months is a really long time not to get a single reply...
so should i delete the game or do what :/

no... this has nothing to do with GGG as you can see in the OP it has everything to do with their ISP. which if you dont provide a WinMTR then its hard to say what it is for you. likely though it is your ISP.

Hi... I’m sorry but as I mentioned it can’t be an ISP issue for the following reasons :

1- UAE have 2 ISP providers who are facing the same problems.

2- The issue has only arise in the week right before legacy league.

3- It is not only localized to UAE, as u can see in this thread and other threads on this same forum.

4- All other games / apps are working perfectly with no problems.

5- The problem varies in intensity from one gate to the other and from one period of time in the day from the other.

6- I have followed up as some other player with their ISP providers to correct the issue and there were no issues to be found.

I’m not trying to play the playing game, nor am I looking for some sort of statement from GGG that the issue exists. All I need is for the issue to be resolved.

Yet I and other players with the exact same problem from UAE and other regions with the same exact issue always get the generic answer of (check with your ISP). Which as we have mentioned the majority did.

When it is working perfectly for the last 5 or more years and it suddenly drops the ball after a patch few weeks ago (while there were no changes in service as per my ISP, which u can check their services updates on their official site), it is not an ISP problem, especially when the problem is ONLY LOCLISED IN POE.

Again, I’m hoping for a serious response from GGG, I’m still in hopes of join the current league.
