Explosive Arrow Fuses graphic display

Greetings,

so i wanted to play explosive arrow in the new League. After a bit of playtesting i found something that seemed strange to me.

I would shot enemies and a fuse would stick to them. so far so good.

But most of the time (i would say 70-80%) i would shout an enemy and there would be no indication that he was hit at all, besides of a bit of missing health. After the delay he exploded just fine.
I then watched a video from ziggyD using the skill and this problem would not show up at all.

Anyone got some experience with this phenomenon?
