Necromancer Poison Raging Spirit Build

Hi Guys
I've been working on a Chaos Damage Summon Raging Spririt Build, and i have a few questions:
Do Increased Chaos Damage Nodes Increase minion's damage if i link an Added Chaos Damage Support Gem?
Do Increased Chaos Damage/Increased Damage Over Time Nodes increase the poison damage if i link a Poison Support Gem?
Otherwise those nodes would be meaningless.
