Emberwake,the taming and ball lightning

first of all sorry if this question has been asked before.

i decided to make my very first emberwake the taming build but i'm rather confused about its working with ball lightning.

let's say i cast ball lightning and the very first zap ignites the enemy do the zaps after apply another ignite? Or can a single ball lightning onley ignite once?
