Question about Mjolner

Why isnt anyone using mjolner as a Discharge build?
you can build it as life it doesnt have to crit proc rate is same as cospri's malice energy shield is good i know but wouldnt you achieve almost the same results? is there something i'm missing that would not allow the build to work? Last bumped on Jan 18, 2017, 9:18:57 PM

high requirements, low attack speed, hard to get good damage since its not crit, thats why its abandoned

Devoto's deovtion costs a billion chaos.....
I did a really successful heirophant cheap discharge build that owned in hardcore breach. I used mjolner, repentance gloves, kingsguard and romira's. I made it a 40% MoM character and had about 5k life with only like 800 mana but the damage mitigation if you use warlords mark is awesome. The issue is that i think to get the damage output on single target you need to go elementalist but that pretty much means you need to get devotos devotion for 100 or more chaos. The clear speed was real though and a lot of fun. There is pretty nice build in the templar section for a MoM, EB GHost Reaver build that if i didnt die to uber lab trial I would have eventually ended up and it seems liek it would really work.. if you can get you accuracy to 90% with the massive investment in accruacy on gear then I think going elemental overload would be awesome and fits right into the passive pathing - but that tough because it would cost alot to get that accuracy on ammy and rings I think. Either way - it was fun as hell and carried me to lvl 5 maps until i juut got dumb and died to traps. Its cheap as hell though now without devotion - try it, its fun. " woah i didnt know hierophant discharge was already a thing, i also made 1 after posting this which uses unconventional items like malachai's loop, shaper's touch and Geofri's sanctuary. i managed to make it to 90% accuracy so i went elemental overload, only investment in accuracy would be romira's and another ring. also uses MoM+EB managed to get life to 4.8k and ES to 6.2k here is the tree: note that it uses intuitive leap on the left side to take the noteables so subtract 6 points

Take a look at this - I removed the duelist area and picked up the Attack Speed near the scion life wheel. Its more AS and life for less investment. I picked up and endurance charge via merc bandits and more AS in cruel Bandits. I removed the entire marauder area because I don't think moving that way and duelist area are worth it to increase phys damage (this is all about the spell damage). Next I moved up towards the life/chaos wheel and picked up the extra crit chance int he top left corner. I also added the ghost reaver passive because I really think its important while using EB and MOM. I also don't think you need anymore AOE since Discharge has a 25-30 target limit anyway so I don't think its helping to much. I thin EE can be picked up last as I am not completely sure if its worth it (could be wrong here but with 5/5/ or 5/6 endurance to power charge it feels like its not he best option). Also, might as well pick up that power charge in shadow area. And finally - def dont need devoto's devotion - waste of currency with heirophant I think. Let me know what you think. Edit: If you have devoto's just go inquisitor and really crush with the crit spell chance on discharge (def wont need EE then). Also - the builder link, is that a complete url?
