Wand + Shield

Hi guys, Im new to this game and im wondering if a templar with a Wand + shield combo is nice.
For skills, im using sparks and summon zombie and tempest shield.
Any suggestions on what i must do to become a more effective templar?

Yo dude ! I'm lvl 46 templar and today going to finnish akt 3 cruel and go to last difficulty

Im using wand + shield (best a armor+energy shield combo shield, so neither a pure armor nor a pure energy shield one), tempest shield, arc, shock nova and sparks!

Build in there. It's quite fun and gets funnier the stronger you get (shock nova gets bigger and deadlier, more sparks etc.)


IMO Its quite balanced in Life/armor/energyshield and also elemental resist (+60% from passive skill tree) - also high blockchance and +% ele dmg as well as +% lightning dmg ofc, and added chance/duration for all your spells to shock enemys :)

What do you think about normal attacks of the wand?
and what are elemental wands and physical wands?
sorry i'm a new guy here and just want to learn stuff about the game :D

physical is the physical damage (also called like that) on the wand itself, and elemental is light, fire or/and ice damage. Like -adds 1-99 lightning dmg on a 11-27 physical dmg wand is then probably called a "elemental wand" because you will use it for the elemental damage, and +% ele dmg benefits elemental wands more than physical ones, obviously.


Could be wrong tho, but seems logical to me like that.

And I dont use normal attacks at all, but you could ofc specialize on that like here:
