They said they don't want to divide the playerbase anymore than it already is (2 leagues + standard).

they could cancel the current separation of hc + sc leagues and make:

- slow league = softcore
- medium league = hardcore
- fast league = ultra hardcode with character's death being permanent

Why would you propose 2 hc leagues when the current hc league is already the smallest player population in the game? And it pretty much is dead, trading wise, after a month.

It is even worse when you remember that all this information is hidden and can only be found in wiki or some even more external sites.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

well breaches can be nasty but there likely will be easier leagues in the future.

As long as they keep a nice feeling of progression when leveling post 95, count me in permanent Softcore.

Make it also focused on melee, and they could even tune the defensive mechanics a bit specifically for that league, keep the Hardcore one as balanced as possible between all the play styles and make the Ultra Hardcore one focused on clear speed meta with ranged/castrs having a small bonus...

Worth playing for stroy and dialogues but hard as shit and very, very frustrating.

I agree with OP because i am casual in here. I dont want to invest my time and attention to learn all the thingis about trade and crafting, its just not worth it. Id rather drop the game if i face frustrating wall than learn about it.

I have different thing i want my time and attention be invested. Also lack of information about recipes IN GAME is a pain in ass.

you're not alone in feeling the need to play the game in a perfect manner because allowing for failures would be a waste of time.

what triggers that? did you play games that always showed you all the options you had? did you play games by cheat sheets and let's play tutorials only?

how about being famous in the community by finding out about one recipe no one discovered yet? poe is a online game after all.

Its not about failure. It is about LEARNING about all the in game things. Crafting, builds, recipes, orbs, trades, prices, etc, etc. There is SO MUCH "NEED to know" to enjoy later content of the game that is just not worth the time it takes to know it.

Fame? In community? I dont pay attention to nicknames here and You expect me to "know" someone that find some hidden content? Nah..

If someone want to search for those thats great. If game has such things thats awesome. But most of those thing in POE are not just fun things to find - they are NEED to KNOW. Without them casual CASUAL players just cannot enjoy all the game. And we are CASUAL because we like this way. It is fun, not hard work, not struggling against game. We dont like frustration that appear if CASUAL player dont want to LEARN about the game. Because lets face it - everyone of us facet this one time at least. Some started to digging in game, and become hc players. But casuals dont like that. I enjoy reading books. Not games wiki.

the garena version of the game had a much better ingame introduction about the essential things, maybe they implement them later on.

but just ask yourself: what's the effect on the community if newer players that are uncomfortable having to read the wiki, have to ask older players?

Please stop it. I'm as a casual n00b that enjoys hoarding as it gets, and even without copy pasting builds and with limited research I manage to reach higher levels and higher end content progressively since I started playing post 1.3.0 - goddamn it, one of my goals was getting in a couple years to 100 just by doing dailies, but thanks to the new EXP penalty I have to cheat and just push for more difficult content instead of just chilling...

Believe me that the game is way too easy if you think, and read a bit (not necessarily on wiki, but that improves a lot the experience) and just focus on a list of tangible goals, like "at level 60 my build should be able to do ... in a satisfactory way" and just adapt as you go - hoarding shit that might be really useful down the line is a great way to go if you neglect trading due to various reasons...

It all depends on expectations...
