What do you think about it? Is it worth taking CI? I know that i will need good gear, with ES, and I am planing not to take CI, until i have that gear. But do you think that i would have enough ES nodes to work with CI? Also I am using discipline and clarity auras. Currently i have 4L (spell totem+spark+lightning penetration+fork), when ill get 5L ill add lightning damage. I am lv 62 now, my build looks like this:

If CI is worth taking, i would respect skills and use build that i posted first. If not, i would concentrate on hp nodes, and wouldn't go to CI tree part. As for demage im at merciless act 2, and i dont have problem killing mobs (currently have 160dps)

Any advices, tips? considering gear i should get, and skill tree changes i should make?

Well CI is a question of personal preference if you like the node simply take it, really you need good gear with such few ES nodes but it'll work in the end.
Taking some more nodes would help though and to be honest you should scratch some of the lightning/spell damage nodes and invest the points into crit/ES.
This will simply get you to much better results.

You should also grab some more dex because of fork which can't be lvl'd up to any decent state with the dex you've got there, Whispers of Doom is some kind of a must have on a spark totem templar as well.

And well obviously you need to take a few health nodes which you later respec when CI is taken but you simply rely on taking them in the early stages of the game.
Ok thanks for tips. Ill try to figure something out how to drop some damage and get ES/Crit instead. Also is ES recovery speed and zelot's oath is worth taking? As for curses, well at first i was thinking to use Conductivity + Elemental Weakness, but then i read in forum that its enough to have one of these. As i look at curses now, i guess the best option for second curse would be Critical Weakness ? And yeah dex is a problem for me, and i ma using 1lv now. I am trying to get 10+% quality fork, so that i could level it up for few levels

CI is still viable for a Templar but it's no longer as op'ed as it was in closed beta.

My CI Templar has about 4.8K ES and comparing that to my closed beta Templar who had just over 7.2K ES you can see the impact of the recent nerfs made to CI.

As for curses, Conductivity is the obvious choice but Elemental Weakness is better if you're in a party if only in order to help other party members who also do elemental damage.

My Alpha Templar hasn't been lucky enough to find Conductivity or Ele Weakness so is using Crit Weakness as his main curse. I'm finding it also works surprisingly well.

OB: BazzVone - 83 Dual Spork Totem Templar /w CI and minions
CB: BazzVfourteen - 80 Dual Spork Totem Templar /w CI
CB: BazzVtwo - 73 Dual Spork Totem/LS Templar
CB: BazzVseven - 76 Lightning Strike Mara
CB: BazzVfive - 78 Lightning Strike Mara
My advice is use dual arc totems. more shocking! Spark only for around corners. Use dual curses, elemental weakness + conductivity.
