Where you get such information? How was question modified and given? Imho its reflecting only "collective" mind of one level of some society. And information like that are not reflecting reality, but creating one or are reflecting own mind of creator (creators). In fact nobody prefer authority at all, unless person accepted he is inferior or accepts hierarchy is needed - for example getting grades in schools is one of the way how to make people inferior in their own eyes and to settle in his "own" fabricated limitations.

It has nothing to do with (not)accepting change. Women simply can't stand each other & function in big independent groups, like men can, because they see each other as competition and are highly envious of everything, even trivial non-business matters.

Just look at this failed Feminazi business experiment:

Think about how many times do you hear your male friends badmouthing other males, and how natural is to hear women talking shit about other women. There is no such thing as 'sisterhood', as there is brotherhood. You may have some exceptional women in high positions, doing a superb job, but most of them don't fit in such an environment, unless men are calling the shots and keeping the "hen house" in check.

Honestly, I'm no sexist but the most evil boss I ever had was a female. Ditto most confrontational. These were middle aged, different races, if that makes any difference.

Unfortunately for gender equality, both estrogen and testosterone are mind-effecting drugs (body too). There are things men are simply better at, and also things women are simply better at. The general is not necessarily the specific, so sometimes the woman can lift the heavier weight than male competitors or the man can be a better grief counselor than female competitors, but there will be noticeable tendencies on the macro level of a rational society, tendencies which correspond to real differences between sexes.
