I need a good starter build for next League

I have been playing PoE for a while but never been to the forums, but it seems this is the first time I have no clue what build I want to use. use all sorts of builds in the past like flicker strike, Magma orb, Tornado shot ect. but for the life of me I cant think of a build to use with this League. any suggestions? thanks a head of time.

Any particular class or skill type or whatever else you're feeling?

Kinna hard to suggest what you might want in a vacuum, mang.

well I like Scion builds, other then that not sure. lets go with caster, dont care what spell, but something that can farm end game content.

Just curious what you consider end game content? If it's Shaper and Uber Atziri, your best bet might be crossing your fingers that current OP skills don't get nerfed, and roll with those (Pathfinder BV, any Blade Flurry)

(current Blade Flurry deals 416.3% of base damage assuming you channel to max stacks and get all return strikes to deal their damage, and consistently release button at max stacks)

Scion is....preeeetty hard-up for good builds at the moment. Outside of very rare combos that work for one specific skill in one specific circumstance, they're almost never the best, or even a terribly good, choice for a build.

The best Scion league starter I know would probably be Warchief totems, assuming Warchief doesn't get pillaged in 2.5.0. Can level with Protectors and Cleave or something until you can start spinning up Warchiefs, and I know for a fact that even RT Warchiefs can be absolute murder wagons in lategame stuff.

As for spells...maybe Fireball? Deadeye + Chieftain is a good choice for Ignite-centric builds, though Chieftain loses out without any physical damage to convert, and you wouldn't get any prolif which is half to all of the point of an Ignite build. I know Scion Spark was really damn good before GGG buttmurdered both Deadeye and Berserker specifically to nerf Scion spark; it might still be workable.

And of course just about anyone or anything can do a Pizzablast build and make it work to some extent. Chieftain/Raider could be somewhat intriguing for a Pizzablast Scion, gain Onslaught whenever you have max Frnezies for supah-fast casting/channeling time on Pizzablast and Chieftain for extra ignite and totem goodness.

I know I've got a Scion I'm going to try and build in Breach this time, but it's not what I'd call a league starter given the requirement for what will undoubtedly be a dismayingly popular endgame-y Breachlord bow. I mean, you could, but your build will kinda stink until/unless you can get a Xoph's Ignition to stick on it.

I would at least like to farm uber lab, and high tier maps. to work on currency then start something to do the rest (shaper and what not).

Ah. Quakernaut, then. Or possibly be funky and do Blade Flurry Juggaluggz. Undeniable could be a very interesting way to scale attack speed for a sword Blurry build on the left side of the tree, and Juggaluggz physical nigh-immunity and endless regen has been trivializing the Labyrinth since the Labyrinth dropped.

Looks like BF didn't get nerfed too bad so it looks like I am going to do that. Any good build out yet?
