On what itembase would you spam 700 chaos?

Planning to spam 700 chaos on something when I get home from work tonight in approx 30 minutes, not sure what base to go for though, atm I'm leaning between steel ring and titanium spirit shield.

Pretty new to crafting so if I did go for steel ring for example what mods would be optimal?

I wouldnt chaos rings. better alt/aug and regal them. Especially steel rings will only be worth something with high wed and/or phys dmg roll + life/es. And there are just too many mods.

Go with a ES item. Titanium shields are a good option like you already mentioned. other items would be Hubris helmets or Vaal regalia chests
