it's +800ES without spell dmg vs 15% more dps with spell dmg, they are quite similar

+800es it's equal to 25-28% increased es equal to 4 passives
15% increased dmg passive is about 2,5% more dps, you'd need 6passives for that 15%more dps compared to 4 for es but atm you don't need dps

it's like people using coe+spell dmg shield on attack builds while eva/es shield+circlet is much stronger, why? :)

Assuming u are right about es part, but I disagree with the dps part.

U were stating this with a coe-related build which is able to get 36% or 42% wed on each ring and amulet, not to mention tons of increased dmg from tree, but fyndel's topic was with caster build which wants spell crit.

As a caster, you won't be able to get such tons of increased dmg on gears/tree.

According to the dmg formula = base dmg * increased dmg * more dmg.

So, to figure out how much "more dmg" we will have, we can check the number that 75~79(t1 spell) divided by total increased dmg.

To be more simple, you can just test it ingame by ourselves.
T1 spell is roughly 25% more dmg in town if you have all good spell dmg jewels and 100+ sp dagger.
It is roughly 35% more dmg in town if you have decent dagger and jewels.
