Do the minions get the crit chance?

the stats sheet in game will show and increasing 'spell crit chance' each time a power charge is gained. So the minions ONLY gain spell crit? it's not clear what's going on here...

No.

The only bonuses that can affect minions are bonuses that specifically say minions, or stats given by Support gems. Deadly Infusion falls under neither category.

The character sheet is slightly misleading. Essentially, you have a stat, but the stat does nothing. Skill gems that summon Minions are technically Spells, but they do not deal Spell Damage. However, there's no way for your character sheet to know that, so it just tells you you have increased critical spell chance in case your spell actually dealt damage (it doesn't)
