item level lower than the act level ?!!?!?

so i'm at level 76, in act 4 (map level of +67) and the items that been dropped from killing mobs are in the range of 55-62 requires level.
is this normal ?! shouldn't it be in the same level as the map in it (level +67) ?! Last bumped on Aug 31, 2016, 7:11:08 AM

Item level and level requirement are not the same thing. ilvl is the level of the item itself and determines what mods it can roll, how many sockets it can have, etc. It is not directly related to level requirement. Hold your highlight key while hovering an item to see its ilvl.
