Can I afford to do something with this?

I got it just now on a Vorichi mission. I don't want to sell it, it's mine :>
But based on some basic messing around with the android passive tree app, it seems like I would only be able to get around 6k ES on a budget..
Any advice on what to do with it? If I'm wrong and I can make a build with it, I'd prefer that.

What is the 6-7k ES factoring in? Things like the discipline aura, or particular ascendancies can provide good amounts of base ES too.

What % increased ES are you expecting from the tree?

That was with lv 15 Discipline, I think. I was just messing around, so I didn't actually keep track of how much ES I would get from each item. I think I just put 999 ES on the app where it says to put ES from equipment.
I made the practice tree on an Elementalist since one possible build I was thinking of is Firestorm. I got like 300% increased ES on the tree(don't know how much you're supposed to get.)

EDIT: Hold on, now that I wrote them down, I think I might be able to get something like 1465 ES total(maybe), with the 300%inc ES that makes it 8189, but I guess I put too much Increased ES?

Had a look on poe trade for HC prophecy and found you can quite easily get a 350 es shield, 330 es helmet, 250 es boots and 200 es loves for 1-2 chaos each. That adds up to 1130 ES, not counting your shavs for a total of 10c. Not all of those pieces had resists, though a lot of them had at least one decent resist, and you could master-craft a second one. So that combined with whatever rings/amulet/belt you choose should be able to cover your resists.

So I think putting 999 ES from gear was way too low.

Neat. So do you think I can make a decent low life Witch with this(how much total ES is good enough?)? I was thinking either Firestorm or a Summoner. Then again, the Occultist Ascendancy has my eye too, since it's ES focused.
Whether you can make make good use of Shavronne wrappings depends on how expensive your other gears are. Truth is Shavronne's is actually the cheapest component of any low-life build.

What
Fake Temp League Elitists LUL
ES gear is pretty cheapo on standard.

Check out my LA build: 1782214
Yeah, don't listen to someone saying simple ES rares are the most expensive part.

Getting that six-linked Shavronne's is the most expensive part. The best rares will get you the best possible ES, but are not worth it compared to second or third rate versions that will work. All the best rolled rares will do is make you less likely to be one-shot, but crits are crits.

Try to do something that takes advantage of low life. Pain Attunement for spells, for example. Alternatively, you can make use of a Redbeak for a good 100% general increase in damage. Very cheap option with fairly good damage.

Consuming Dark, despite having a shield, would also be a good option. Poison double dipping on fire damage is OP.

Mjolner could also be a good option, if you can get the stat requirements. Especially with Pain Attunement and some attack speed bonuses, you'd have an amazing DPS option with minimal actual damage investment.

Doon Cuebiyari and Doryani's Catalyst are also good options. Ephemeral Edge if you don't need a damage-oriented weapon.

Thanks for this post. Yes, I was planning on getting pain attunement. I might go with Redbeak or Doryani's Catalyst, since I'm not familiar with damage conversion.

Taking Pain Attunement into account, how much increased damage should I take on the passive tree? And how much total ES is enough? I've seen some passive trees use 300% increased ES, and some take closer to 200%
There's another question I'd like to know, can I get by without Zealot's Oath and Ghost Reaver? Zealoth's Oath I could incorporate with some trouble, but I wouldn't be able to get much regen(2%, maybe 3%). Ghost Reaver needs leech that I can't get from the passive tree and only applies to physical attacks(I think)(EDIT: I forgot about the Life Leech Support gem, though I would probably have to 6 link my shavvy before I could use it).

Also, what would I do before lv 62? Would I be using Solaris Lorica up to that point or hybrid?
