ES delay and Eldritch Battery ?

Do ES delay nodes and the Eldritch Battery node work together?
Can ES delay nodes have any effect on mana regeneration ? It seems like ES delays would become redundant after picking up Eldritch Battery but I'm not really sure. |

The mechanic only applies when the energy shield is actually energy shield, so the energy shield cooldown recovery modifier does not affect your mana.
