Can somebody explain me the logic behind Breath of The council Being a mace???
Note: Im not saying the unique is bad, its quite good. What im questioning is why making it a mace while the only melee chaos skill cannot be used with mace...

IF only the only CHAOS attack skill you can use wasnt gated behind Dagger/Claw/Sword...Im talking about Viper Strike Was it because it was primarly a sword or dagger and they feared it interfere with Bino? Was it because they planned on adding new Chaos Attack skill but delayed? Poison spreaded using voidheart count as chaos skills effect so BotC boost the dmg and duration as well. You should do some research before posting.

" "Only?" How about the fucking Poison Support gem, or Cospri's, or Dirty Techniques, or Noxious Strike... Voidheart isn't the only source of Poison :/ Also: ED/Contagion. Abyssal Cry. ohnoyou'renotusingIPD whatever. It also boosts any plain Chaos Damage you might have, if that's really such a big deal; Unholy Might, Ming's Heart, etc. |

[Removed by Support] I dont give a damn if you can make your build using only 2 mods out of 5 on a unique GGG has to make sense in the unique items they make, they have an history behind them, those whole created them had a reason to create them that way otherwise they would have not add useless stuff to it, same goes with evolution. So what. "I dont give a damn if you can make your build using only 2 mods out of 5 on a unique" Poison inherently uses three of Breath's mods (scales with your Phys Damage). ED/Contagion and Abyssal Cry both use three. Chaos based on Phys/Conversion uses three, +1 with Poison, +1 if you Convert via Elemental. ----- Builds using Doryani's rarely if ever use all of its modifiers (no Melee Skill scales with Cast Speed, RT obviates Crit, Prolif is oft-skipped), and it's the most directly comparable Unique, but that was never an issue. The logic is that sceptres are more regal in nature and the Pale Council are bosses so Eber decides to Rule with a Carnal Sceptre
