Difference between the Ancestor totems?

Is there an actual difference between the Ancestral Protector and Ancestral Warchief totems?

Do they benefit from their bonus to "more attack speed" or "more melee damage and less melee attack speed"?

Or is the only difference the percentage of your weapon damage?

They use your DPS, so when they grant you more melee attack speed/damage, they also, in a way, grant it to themselves.

If you are thinking to use two, to get both bonuses, so totems get hyper-buffed - your thinking is correct. ;P

Also, Warchief has built-in melee splash, but also has less attack speed thingy. Afaik, the less attack speed on Warchief only affects himself.
