I want to report bug (or it is not bugged?)

Hi there ! I already wrote to GGG support but they were not able to consider of it is a bug or not. They send me here so here i am.

I found a bug, for me its not normal, that traps are not counted to enchantment "90% incerased critical strike chance if you haven't crit recently". As i see it is for every single skill which can crit. The problem is that trap arent counted into this, you have insta 90% more crit chance, if you get crit or not, it is the same.

Have video for example, i am using traps and still have this crit chance from enchantment, while i used whirling blades crit goes down.

You didn't crit, your trap did. I don't think it's a bug, you don't get credit for trap kills either.

You're complaining about having more DPS than you think you're supposed to? Are you some kind of saint? :P

Anyway, yeah, traps work very similarly to totems: they don't count as "you" doing damage (or critting, or hitting) but their damage counts as Your Damage (if that makes sense). So they can trigger EE, and deal damage based on your passive tree damage modifiers (even if you have ancestral bond), but you don't take reflect damage from hits they do, and crits they deal don't count as "your" crits.

So this boost should also work for, say, flame totem builds.

I think traps are too powerful already, they dont need to have sercret boosts :)

I'd have to read romiras mod again to be sure but I'm pretty sure if your trap doesn't crit then a power charge is granted to it. After it's dead. The dead trap. Your trap which has been deleted from the game gets a power charge.
