 Synergy - "The Creation of a Whole that is Greater than the Sum of it's Parts" 175/ 250 - Guild Stash: 41 Tabs --- As of June 19, 2016 --- Synergy is a guild open to players of all experience and skill levels. We have some experienced players as well as new players. There is no skill or experience level required for membership, veteran and new players are equally welcome. We also like to promote playing together as a community, sharing master daily missions in a guild rotation, mapping and doing game progression together within the community. We are predominantly a soft-core guild playing in standard and temporary leagues although some players do have hard-core characters as well. We would like to maintain a positive, encouraging, helpful, friendly and uplifting atmosphere in the guild community where players are comfortable asking questions and support each other. If a new player has a common unique drop for the first time and in their excitement links it to guild chat, share in their excitement and congratulate them, encourage them with positive comments rather than telling them that it's garbage, etc. We ask that members keep guild/voice chat free of profanity, vulgarity, derogatory or any other potentially offensive remarks of any kind. We also ask that players refrain from naming their character's something that may be offensive to others. If your account name, character name or status message could be offensive to anyone, or something you may not feel comfortable saying to a stranger, this guild may not be the best fit for you. Although the guild is open to players anywhere on the planet, the language used in the guild is English. If you cannot read and write English well enough to effectively communicate with other members please search for a community in which you can communicate with your guild mates in a common language. Registration in the guild forum is required for application purposes. The forums are also used to help manage active members as there is currently no way to track who is still active in the game. For more details about this please see the spoiler below titled "Guild Forum Registration". The guild does have a voice chat available. Voice chat is optional for members and is not required. Guild Forum Registration
GGG currently has no way for a guild to check which players on a guild roster have stopped playing the game. There is no indicator in the game as to when the last time a player has been online. Without proper management of guild roster slots a guild's roster will very quickly be filled with players who no longer play. To maintain an active guild a method to identify which players on the roster are inactive is needed. Registration in a guild forum is one method to accomplish this. Once registered, periodic logins to the guild forum provide a method to indicate who is still active in-game. There is no requirement to post, or read any content in the guild forum, a simple login when prompted to do so in guild chat is all that is needed for a verification to be accomplished. Players who do not login when prompted to do so, which is an indicator that they did not see the message while in the game which was sent out in guild chat over the course of several days, are considered inactive and removed. There is a section in the guild forum for players to post if they will be absent and since they have made that information known, they are not removed even though they failed to login if prompted to do so in guild chat. The system is less than a perfect one, however it is a compromise that seems to serve its purpose well enough - it is certainly better than the alternative which is to have a roster full of players who no longer play. Any player who is removed for being inactive is welcome to return. If you are/were removed for being inactive and would like to return to the guild simply contact myself for an invitation.
