In other games - you get a cookie whether you win or lose. PoE not only takes your fuckin' cookie and eats it in front of you, it slaps you upside the fuckin head a few times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

Etup died on hardcore at level 90 and got moved to default which is why it says that.

I was online when he died on HC, and maybe 4 seconds after his death was announced, realm crashed. We all log back in, and what do you see - he is alive, but is not shown on HC ladder but on SC one.
