Is poestatistics.com accurate?

I've just recently discovered this site, and I'm confused by it. Just now while playing in HC, there was the yellow message that player Etup in No.2 ladder has died. So looking up at this character:

http://poestatistics.com/users/etup/etup.html

I don't understand. It says he has been in the default league, not in HC league, so why was his death announced there? (I checked, I'm definitely still in HC lol). And according to that, he doubled his exp from level 83 to level 90 in a day? How is that possible? Am I interpreting something wrong?
When you die in Hardcore, you go to softcore. Also, I heard that he was very lucky with finding high level maps hence the high exp gain.
Might have something to do with the switch from HC to Default, I assume poestatistics has trouble with that.
But on poestatistics it says he started in hardcore, but has been in default since 31st Jan. What's up with that?
He died during a rollback and has not actually been on the hardcore ladder even though he was still in the hardcore league due to the rollback. Now he's dead for sure.

I'm assuming that's what happened based on historical facts I just recollected. It may not even be the same player I'm thinking of.

You are correct. He died during a realm crash and when everything came back up he was still in HC but he had been transferred from the HC ladder to SC. Now that he's really in SC the ladder caught up to the progression he had been making.
Yes. nice bug.
We assumed that going back from softcore to hardcore is impossible :)
