THOR'S RAINBOWNUKE: LOW LIFE MJOLNER

Now that seems incredibly expensive BUT how would one go about getting that? Ok you can't follow the skill tree I take it? if I am building a new scion then a discharge is impossible?

I take it you need to follow a budget beginner build then wait one day for GGG to announce a skill tree reset? and by that time you would have had the items needed for a mjolner discharge arc build?

I have no idea how to do this I mean on one hand I want to level this character to 80 but on the other hand how do I do it while keeping the skill tree in line with the Mjolner discharge rainbow build?

IS IT POSSIBLE to start a new character with a discharge arc build?

Suggestion for Leveling to 70
If you plan to use a new character for this build, I suggest you level to 70 with dual Flame Totem. This has very minimal gear requirements and basically no passive tree requirements other than the Ancestral Bond keystone if you are in softcore. All you really need is a Tabula Rasa, some leveling gear with resists and Energy Shield, and the Ancestral Bond keystone. You can level to 70 with this setup and just fill in the passive tree skeleton until it looks about like the level 70 starting trees for Rainbownuke. Around level 70, spec out of Ancestral Bond and switch over to Rainbownuke gear.

Good build but terrible price/performance for a newcomer

My advice is look here then move into that once you get volls amulet an 18-20ex cost to make above even work

The number of builds accessible to beginners are very limited in this game and many ragequit because of this.

beginners can use any build imaginable and it will work fine, since most skills will work fine in normal difficulty without any support gems or uniques or even allocating any points in the passive tree (so completely wrong allocation works fine).

People who can't think for themselves, look up an endgame build then try to go directly to a cookie cutter standard build that requires 50-100ex investment and wonder why it doesn't work might quit though.
my perandus guardian had most of the stuff

getting mjolnir 20c
getting shavs 0 socket 2,5 ex
gloves few chaos
and rest lowlife es gear you can improve over time

the hard part is the devotion it used to be 10c in onslaught thats were i got mine now its 12ex+

with romiras as charge generator the devotion is only a dps boost ..this means it will still work just with less power

If you want to do a Mjölnir build, start with a cheaper, life based build, and work your way up to low-life.

I am currently running an Aegis (almost) max block gladiator (HairOfTheBaskervilles), and it can survive anything, however the damage is probably less than a low-life version.

I just bought a legacy Mjölnir, but that is not needed. As somebody said, Voll's is only needed for high level maps, and Kingsguard is only usable with a Voll's.

So get Mjölnir, Romira's, Aegis Aurora, a 5-link armour and you are ready to go.
The plan is simple: win! If you do not win, you did not follow the plan

Ehhh. I don't really think that's true, especially in temp leagues where the economy is booming and everything is rather cheap. Mjolner imo is expensive because it requires a Legacy item that is around 20 exa, but plenty of beginner builds that do not require this level of investment.

Then they ragequit after seeing the 300 exalt builds people in parties carrying the whole team and clearing cores for them. I know this because out of 10 noobs I coach, 8 eventually quit not matter how hard I counsel and council them.
