CI Dead with energy shield remaining

Hi, i just died in a zana quest, Village ruin map, where the boss 1shotted me where afterwards i still had ES left but am CI

I did sit for a while being amazed at how it could happen in level 74 map with 8.5k~ (Discipline, for if you say but screenshot only says 6.2k~) es and maxxed res, i doubt a level 74 boss should be able to do that much damage no?

Using a flask with the Caustic mod when you have Chaos Inoculation will kill you. This is correct with how the mod is worded

i do not have a flask with caustic mod, since it can only roll on mana pots
