Hybrid ES/Life Frost Bolt + Vortex/Ice Nova

Going to attempt at playing around with a build for the new upcoming skills Frost bolt and vortex.

I've never really attempted my own build aside from a Crit Spectral Throw ranger, which I did have some success with and just got bored around level 70. Any input from the community would be appreciated.

Heres my first draft at a skill tree.


I'm new to ES builds so i'm sure my first attempt at this tree will be a colossal failure.
- Have I hit enough nodes for survivability with an ES/Life Build?
- Was it worth picking up Ghost Reaver?
- Have I gone over board with cold damage nodes? (Looking to have a high freeze %)
- Are there any other key nodes I should hit. (Dont want CI)
- Useful Uniques?

As I said, this will be a process. Out of town working for a few months so I find myself with some extra free time so I figured I can put some effort into this one.
