If I get what you are asking, Damage Over Time boosts from the passive tree increase the DoT component of Caustic Arrow. I'm using THIS build at the moment and it definitely works.
EDIT: So passives like Dirty Techniques, bottom right of tree near Point Bank, increase the DoT component by 40%. "I reject your reality and substitute my own." - Dr Who (Tom Baker, 1976). Last edited by Elcardil on May 4, 2016, 1:04:03 AM

wait. but when i point on it on the right screeen bar, the damage doesn't go up:((

Yeah, that's the initial damage as DPS, not the DoT Component. The DoT component is listed in the description. It increases there.
