Farewell, fellow exiles.

I've just uninstalled the game. It was, until recently, my favorite game, but it is no longer fun for me.

I want to thank the other players here in the forums (those of you who are still here) for being so patient with all my noob questions, and always trying hard to help a fellow player in need of advice.

I also want to thank GGG for creating the most kick-ass game ever. I don't blame you for trying to take the genre in a new direction, and in fact I applaud your attempt. The world of gaming needs more risk-taking, not less.

Sadly, the direction the game has taken no longer suits me, due in part perhaps to network pathing to my location (Japan), and due in part merely to issues of taste. I'm an altoholic, and I just have too many characters that need to Ascend via gameplay that I hate. I've decided to leave now, before I begin to hate the entire game.

You've given me 3.5 years of gaming. Path of Exile has resided on this very hard drive that entire time! That's a hell of a run. The only game in my personal experience to best that was Diablo 2. Not bad company to keep at all.

Keep taking risks, keep listening to your players, and don't let the haters get you down. If and when Path of Exile 2 comes out, you can be sure that I'll be among the first on board.

I paused for an year and a half at some point, and I've had many hours of enjoyment after the pause. Who knows what will happen.

All the best to you and maybe you'll be back. I think the game is running strong altho it sometimes seems that people disagree. But that might just be the internet for you. Most people go online to rant. Great that you didn't succumb to that temptation despite the fact that the game is not for you anymore. An attitude worthy of a long time supporter. Whats the big deal give points at 35 55 and 75 gating it behind stupid minigames which the majority hates has to be fixed asap

Yes iam biased seeing 30k armor 500reg lowlife die in seconds due to shitty traps compared to tanking 3 unique perandus in a t10 solo is just shitty design

The fact a hc player has to fear the lab even at 80+ is such a dumb design
Dude i got a idea lets make % traps so we can annoy our playerbase as high as possible
