nothing new here, but no it's not "better", aegis aurora is self sufficient and only requires a little pool of ES to be efficient. Plus it's only one unique
I will never be good but always I try to improve.

The "infinite" ES from aegis also allows melee characters to run melee damage on full life, which is a pretty gigantic dps increase on physical builds. 10-20% WED is also excellent since nearly every physical build runs hatred and HOA, and maybe even added fire.

Looks fun. I'm partial to block builds with its counterattack/reflect/trigger. In Perandus playing a variant of GeGuRi's full-block aegis + anvil build and it performs similarly,

Got a preliminary tree with about 210% life (to compensate for the lack of life on the pale king and anvil) and napped the rampart cluster for added defense along with iron reflexes and unwavering stance. That would be cool if you could test this. Especially, cause you have allready an Aegis Build to compare. To LightningStars Let's say you have 1000 ES and 5000Life If you take 2000 Damage, Aegis fills up 1000ES leaving you with 1000 ES and 4000 Life, and then stops working !? Melee damage on full life doesnt work in this case when you need it most !? | |

I wanted to make a Pale King build but then came across the information that reflect damage cannot be scaled by anything but vulnerability/shock :\

To Mannoth
With Anvil + Temu you get 230 Life per Block without any scaling or investment. To reach this with Aegis you need 11550 Armour + ES as Buffer. Just did a -14% max Res. Ele. Weakness Residence Map for Science. Only the Exploding Mobs at Dominus and a Volatile Blood Rare could kill me and did :-( But this is generally a big downside for Melee. |
