I think statues like the ones in Solaris didn't count if they haven't "animated" and left their pedestal. Don't know if that's still true.

I've seen "Zero monsters remain" MANY times when there were still obvious monsters left. I never trust the monster count to assume an area is safe in HC.

Me and friends got mission to kill all exiles and we haven´t found last one and it was dry peninsula lol

Interesting. I've leveled Zana to 8 in every league since Forsaken Masters and don't recall ever having a find the unique mission that wasn't a timed mission. RNG I guess.

probably a stone/chest/barrel that you didnt see

Rogue exiles also don't count towards /remaining either.
