Looking for some feedback on a build/playstyle.
I'm semi new to the game. As in, I have a marauder at 46, I've been playing for 2 weeks.
Well, I'm wanting to try to build a templar that favor's Shields. I was a Paladin Tank in WoW for a while, and when I saw This shield it sort of "Inspired" the idea. Trouble is? I've never played A game like this, so I'm a little fuzzy on what does, and doesn't work. The build Using the Script, It ends up netting me 21% additional Shield Block Chance 44% increased Armour 90% increased Block Recovery 115% increased Defences from equipped Shield 10% increased Elemental Damage 18% increased Endurance Charge Duration 40% increased Mana Regeneration Rate 22% increased Melee Physical Damage 44% increased maximum Energy Shield 99% increased maximum Life 12% of Block Chance applied to Spells 2.9% of Life Regenerated per Second 0.2% of maximum Life Regenerated per second per Endurance Charge +2 Maximum Endurance Charge +100 to Intelligence +190 to Strength +60 to maximum Life +30% Elemental Resistances while holding a Shield +35% to all Elemental Resistances Never deal Critical Strikes You take 30% reduced Extra Damage from Critical Strikes Your hits can't be Evaded Now, I've not made it to end game, so I'm not "really" sure what is good, and what isn't. My Marauder just hit Act II Cruel. I know that armor is less than stellar in this game against big hits. I know that Block, in this game negates the hit. I know that Endurance Charges are good, and with this build, + getting the Endurance Charges from the Bandits, I can end up with a nice chunk of Damage Reduction from that. The 115% Increase in Defense from Shields. Does that Apply to all Defensive Stats? Like Resists? The Skills At this point, I was thinking Shield Charge, Tempest Shield, Molten Shell, Enduring Cry, Immortal call As Skills that would be fun to use. Then I was thinking Cold Snap and Glacial Hammer as my "Spammy" Attacks. Does this even have a chance of working? Like I said, I'm fairly nub at this game, and ARPG's in general.
