CoH - What I am doing wrong?

I recently respecced my Ranger into a LS build, which as the following links:



Now, on my gloves I have this:



But I never see any curses on the enemies, what is wrong?

You need to link both the curse and Curse on Hit to something that hits the enemy, and the curse will get applied on hit.

For example link Spectral Throw - Greater Multiple Projectiles - Curse on Hit - Assassin's Mark. Herald of Thunder is also very good for applying curses with Curse on Hit.

CoH says "Supported skills apply supported curses on hit".

Since I use hatred atm it should be hatred then, got it!

Unfortunately not. Hatred just adds damage to your spells/attacks but it doesn't hit an enemy by itself. Herald of Thunder - in addition to adding damage - also hits enemies with lightning bolts so it can be used to apply curses with Curse on Hit via that.

Have to switch to herald of thunder then or herald of ice which should work too?

That will cause the explosions from Herald of Ice and the lightning bolts from Herald of Thunder to apply the curses, but you still will not apply them with every hit unless you link a damage skill to Curse on Hit (that damage skill will always apply them).

Both of these Heralds will work. Mechanics-wise I like Herald of Thunder better for applying curses but it also depends on how much lightning and how much cold damage you deal.
