Estimated Physical Damage Reduction question.

I am not sure why I did not notice this before, but yesterday I did notice it.

A few days ago I switched my Marauders build from a groundslammer to this build ...

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1361374

When I started using that build my Marauders level was 56 and he hat a estimated Physical Damage Reduction of 40%. But now at level 62 it appears to have dropped to 35%? The only thing that I changed equipment wise when I started with that build was the weapon?

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w172/Illius_photos/Path%20of%20Exile/Problems%20or%20questions/Damage%20Reduction%20lowers%20with%20each%20lvl_zps4oia6sft.jpg

Now considering how complicated this game can be in several ways, I am certain that it is some how my fault that it is dropping. But I have no idea as to what is causing it and how I can fix at the moment. So I am hoping that the veteran players here can explain why my Marauders ( And most likely other characters as well. ) get lower and lower estimated Physical Damage Reduction with each level ... and how I might solve and prevent it from happening again.

( My characters can be looked at through my profile. )

Okay some one on Reddit posted this link ...

http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Armour

And he/she advised to ignore what Estimated Physical Damage Reduction shows in game. And considering what I just read on the Wiki that seems a good idea.

The same person just aded this info for me on Reddit.

"
As an addendum, I would not suggest to "ignore it entirely". You can certainly note the portion of that value which is not related to your armor (endurance charges, for example), as it is not based on the damage of the hit.
For armor, assume that a large hit will be reduced by a flat amount equal to your armor rating divided by 10. If you have 10,000 armor, you can reduce up to 1,000 damage from a hit. Don't think of it as a percentage reduction (like the game presents it to you).

Good to know. :)

Estimated % means mitigation against average monster of YOUR level. Meaning as your level gets up, the amount of physical damage on average the monsters deal will also rise. Taking consideration how the armor formula works ( look it in wiki) you'll get less mitigation for higher hits, meaning if the hits get higher and your armor stays the same, you will get less estimated %
