Leap Slam Staff build
My passive tree:
The skills I am definitely taking are: - leap slam - molten strike - enduring cry I won't use all of these but these supports are the ones I'm thinking of using: - Added fire/ice/lightning damage - fire/ice/lighting pen - Melee Physical Damage - Culling Strike - Faster attacks - Life gain/leech - Stun Other skills I am thinking of getting: - Glacial Hammer - Ground Slam - Infernal blow I think it looks alright, but I'd like some feedback: - Is it worth putting some points in stun without being a full stun character? - Am i tanky enough? (resists, health etc) - Is leap slam a good enough AoE or should I also take ground slam? - Should I use all three elements or just one? > If just one, which one and why? - Are there any mobs this build might have trouble with, and how could i adjust my build to deal with them? I have a pretty similar build right now at lvl 41.
my mainattacks are - heavy-strike (with melee-damage/lightning-damage) -> single target - sweep (w. fire-dmg/chance to ignite/cold-damage) -> crowds - leap slam (w.o. support) -> just for movement - molten shell (w. fire penetration) i am using enduring cry and warlords mark - both help a lot to survive. most of the time in combat i stand in the middle of 5 mobs, which are eating through my shell while i am casting Enduring cry and Warlords mark and then sweep the final rest of life out of the bad guys. until here it works and means fun. Auras: - wrath & discipline i am at akt 1 cruel and have 870 life and 200 ES right now. i would recommend you to take the 30% crit-reduce from mara + troll-blood for 1,5% regeneration. i am defintive missing some mana. my molten shell costs 66 mana right now - it can be hard to recast. my equip: my skilltree: http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgUAAnEEswVbD1QUTRkuJ-02ujwtRHJG10ouTP9USV3GXz9gbXKpfNl9U4FvgziExIp0iuSb7J2AogCnpalorKqvbLaGuUO53cQVxPbFitSP3fPnUu1E7w7vfPAf8i_ynA== regarding some of your Qs: - i would rather take one or max. two elements. with RT you dont benefit that much from status ailments, so you need chance to ignite or similar tricks. fire seems a good choice with the +30% extra-fire node below mara-starter area. and added fire gems work percentage-based which fits better with a phys.-dmg-char. - i dont go into stun too deep. but that doesnt mean its worthless. - i could definitely need a little chunk of more life - but who in this game doesnt? - i think leapslam is cool - but i would rather go for sweep or groundslam, just becaus the animation of LS is so slow with enemys close by.
