POE swapping weapons with x key disabled

I purposely disabled the x key for hot swapping weapons but the game randomly swaps the weapons at times (as I obviously can't without going into my inventory slot and manually swapping them "on purpose".) This of course disables what is associated with those weapons and for my build is a major problem. Has anyone else run into this and is there a fix?

An update to this, it happened when I got hit with lightning... I don't know if that's a coincidence or related. (Just happened again.)

If this is normal game play that this is happening it would be nice to know that mobs can hit you to randomly swap your weapons.

I don't understand the question. If you are asking if it happened when I did have a key assigned but didn't specifically trigger the weapon swap, then yes it did appear so. However, I couldn't be sure what the issue was or that there was 'no possibility' I wasn't triggering it since one doesn't necessarily notice the weapon swap right away if the attack isn't in the weapon, i.e. something isn't disabled immediately when it swaps.

Even then, one might argue that with the game being a very frenetic pace when this type of thing occurs, perhaps one made a mistake. But in summary, yes, I did notice it other times, but in this case I can say without any ambiguity that I am not hitting the key by mistake since it is totally disabled (as well as me being careful to not hit the key in any case.)

It ends up that the ~ (tilde) key was assigned to the weapons swap and It was being hit occasionally when going for the '1' key.

It would be nice to be able to make it so there was 'no' key assigned to an action.

Assign the ~ key to something else and that should unassign a weapon swap key.
