Upcoming expansion means new players, and tbh the zombies and stuff is pretty boring for the first 10 mins. (Which is about the attention span of players theses days before they quit)

2) crabs fire EK instead of rocks. with Curse Of Hit Temporal Chains.
3) Zombies replaced by Left For Dead version.
4) Cannibals are now all ranged, with a limitless supply of torches.

On topic: For those that want a more difficult game... try playing HC/Solo/Self-found. Start fresh. Quit twinking your characters to the point of absurdity.

I feel Act 1 is a place which should be relatively easy in Normal but have several completely new monsters, mechanics, and boss moves in Cruel. Unlike Act 2-4, Act 1 Cruel should feel completely different from Act 1 Normal's "easy mode."

I'd like more mechanical complexity, and a survival horror vibe (specially in normal). At that point you are not a demigod so a more meaningful struggle would be nice. Some unique bosses are lame.

Once in Cruel or Merciless it should be a wake up call and be full of stuff that hits like a truck and/or tries hard to kill you.
