Beacon of Corruption

Hello,

The Necromancer witch-subclass in Ascendancy has a skill named Beacon of Corruption which causes minions to spread caustic cloud on death.

Is its damage affected by Chaos Damage and Damage over Time from the passives/gear? Asking so that I may plan the build in advance.

The cloud is damage done by your minions. Therefore your passives/gear won't apply to it (unless it explicitly states "minions...").

Ok thanks. Just wanted to confirm for my below planned Necromancer build with Beacon of Corruption, Minion Instability and Mistress of Sacrifice.



Hopefully at least with Minion Damage, Minion Life and items like Mon'Tregul's Grasp etc, Beacon of Corruption will prove good enough. If not then I will choose Soul Weaver instead.
