What if EA buy GGG
I'd be out.
I haven't bought a single EA title since DA2, which was when they abandoned Steam and expected me to run yet another DRM client. I wasn't willing to do that. (I'm okay with Steam, less okay but still tolerant of Blizzard's Launcher, but not willing to have more stuff running in order to play games I paid for.)

Massive thanks to GGG for producing such a fun and engaging game, it has taken up faaaaaaar too much of my life over the last 5 years. Best of luck in the future! |

Poe will now come with a small price of $100, each expansion or new content will be in many forms of DLC and they will only cost $60 per download

" Charan, do you live or work next to GGG office and know chris on a serious level? I've been on the forums more and you seem to know a lot of info. |

Well I hope you are right Charan because I've seen EA buying so many franchises I loved and ruining them x.x

Not going to ever happen. PoE is such a code mess in many areas from trading to balance to lockstep stuttering to endgame... err... lack of endgame that no other behemoth game company would want this title in their game stable. Sorry GGG but it's true.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat: www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2247070 |

" EA aren't exactly looking for quality, just revenue. We don't know PoE's revenue and how, comparatively, successful it is. Plenty of EA published games are sub-par. (PoE has issues, but it is at least maintained and developed, and it's progressing.) I don't feel PoE is a game with mass appeal, though. Just too niche. So it's not really EA's typical offering anyway.

None of us would play anymore because, like Battlefront and Titanfall, POE would be dead in less than a month.

DAE hate EA? Is this still a thing in 2016?
Big company would probably make poE more casual game. So: better tutorial, easier endgame, etc. A lot of changes that people ask for. "Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. And the reason
is that our enemies are human beings like us. They can only be our enemies in relative terms." |
