Please advise me on my how to work my build.

Okay, been playing for a few days and have a lvl 18 templar. I am trying to build him to use two handed weapons and short ranged aoe spells. I am trying to use spells like Ice Nova, Infernal Blow, Molten Shell, and Sweep. Pretty much anything that gets cast around me or is a melee attack. So far I really like Molten Shell, Sweep, and Ice Nova. Those are the primary ones us use. This is how I would like to build my templar. But not sure how to do it or if it is even feasable. This is my skill tree so far. Not sure if this is a good start or bad start.

Any advice will be welcome and appreciated. I have a good grasp of the over all game but havent played long enough to know how well things actualy work and for how long they work. So please let the ideas flow and tell me what you think. Thank you for your time and effort.
