The Slut MoM: Proof of Concept
We all know about MoM builds, and aurasluts. So here's a slutty MoM proof of concept.
Become tanky, so no one else has to. 1) MoM + (Any build) Party members with MoM. 2) Vigilant Strike + Some method of generating end charges 3) Conduit 4) Corrupted Mindspiral 5) The Vigil + 2x Spirited 6) The Aylardex + Some method of generating a large number of power charges (preferably 6 and up) Damage mitigation: MoM = 30% of damage sent to mana (this is the party level of mitigation) The Aylardex (Example, 9 charges for a staff crit with Hege Era) = 39% Medium Corrupted Mindspiral = 43% damage sent to mana Party only: One Mindspiral or source of regen/damage gained as mana Arctic Armor: 13% less. Base End charges for party = 12% reduction to phys Mana boosts: Spirited Rally - 20% With Mind Spiral - 30% (This is your party's mitigation) Any other source - eg. Regen, Victario's Flight, Corruptions, extra spirited rally etc. -- No one will run out of mana and will receive free mitigation, including stationary casters. Example party member; 0% phys damage mitigation. Equation for damage taken; ((1-end charge)*(1-fortify%)*(1-arctic%)dmg*(1-%MoM) Equation with everything up; dmg taken = (((1-0.12)*(1-0.2)*(1-0.13))dmg)*0.7 = 0.428736 DMG Effective Physical Damage Reduction; 1-((((1-0.12)*(1-0.2)*(1-0.13))dmg)*0.7) = 57.1264% Against a hit of 5,000 damage; The player will only take 2143.68 damage to HP, provided their mana is sufficient - Example party member; 75% ele resistance Equation for damage taken (non-fire); ((DMG*(1-0.75))*(1-fortify %))*(1-%MoM) % Total damage taken : 14% Reults for 5,000 elemental damage; ((5000*(1-0.75))*(1-0.2)*0.7) = 700 damage to HP, provided their mana is sufficient. ------- Example Slut MoM with 0% phys mitigation and 4 end charges (templar tree); Equation for damage taken; ((1-end charge%)*(1-fortify%)*(1-arctic%)dmg*(1-%MoM-%num Power Charge-Mindspiral corruption) % Phys dmg taken maxed out; ((1-0.16)*(1-fortify%)&(1-0.13)DMG*(1-0.3-0.09-0.04)= 33.32448% % Damage reduction; 1-(((1-0.16)*(1-0.2)*(1-0.13)DMG*(1-0.3-0.09-0.04))= 66.67552% Example with 5,000 Phys Damage ((1-0.16)*(1-0.2)&(1-0.13)*5000*(1-0.3-0.09-0.04) = 1666.224 Damage Taken to HP, provided their mana is sufficient. - If you see an error with calculation, please point it out. Fortify is multiplicative with Endurance Charges btw: Endurance Charges grant Physical Damage Reduction, whereas Fortify is Reduced Damage Taken. Different steps.
