Warp_Speed's Dual Lightning Warp Totem Build

Every pub game I go in, everyone has been asking me about my build, so I decided to share it with you guys.

Warp_Speeds Dual Lightning Warp Totem Build

Pros: Cast and forget, Low number of clicks/minute, Great AOE dmg going IN & OUT, Fun & Unique

Cons: Kind of squishy, Very high mana costs, Totems have a mind of their own, Totems don't see around corners / doors (meaning 230+ mana recasts), The fun doesn't start until lvl 31 (spell totem) or lvl 24 ( lightning warp )

Chest 5L:
Lightning Warp (B): Increased Area Effect (B) : Lightning Penetration (B) : Spell Totem (R): Reduced Mana or Life Leech (R)

Gloves / Boots / Helm 4L
Discipline (B) : Clarity (B): Tempest Shield(B): Reduced Mana (R)

Conductivity to reduce lightning resistances of mobs

Frostwall in order to block mobs from rushing you

Zombies, skeletons and spectres wherever you can.

Boots need Faster movement - as the time it takes for the totems to warp depends on movement speed.


Faster casting is not as effective as movement speed, since the travel time overlaps the casting time. Quicksilver flasks, on the other hand will greatly increase your DPS since the totems attack as fast as you can run. Ample Quicksilver Flask of Adrenaline will be your best bet. This took me 1 flask, 1 transmutation orb, about 10 alteration orbs and 1 orb of augmentation (this is easy to make yourself)

After nearly 100% movement speed increase, I believe it's time to up the cast rate. When A 6L ES armor comes my way, it will definitely show improvements.

Passive Tree is constantly updating - Testing out some other things and will keep updating as the build changes!

Lovely concept! Seems very amusing to play.

Questions:
1. Wouldn't Shavronne's Pace be the ideal boots for your build?
2. How is your damage holding up on Merciless?

Just a suggestion for more life, why don't you grab the life nodes really early in the templar tree?

Hello i have a question. I had a similar idea but couldnt test it. How is it working with lightning warp cast without spell toem when you select dual totems? Do you deal damage, because you dont directly cast lightning warp.

Yup. Shavronne's Pace are the best boots.
Still grinding away docks Cruel right now (lvl 51) so I can't describe merc damage.

Also it's a Chaos Innoculation so life nodes are pointless.

and Lightning Warp alone without the spell totem does no damage, but still gets you across ledges and stuff pretty fast.


**EDIT**

I've found it's more important to get a good set of boots with more ES, Resists, and Links with high movement speed, rather than a unique boot with high movement speed - you will make up for it with the Quicksilver flask.

Good point I didn't notice the CI

The build has been updated with new info and a new passive tree.

Interesting... but I have no clue how you've survived that long with this build! Looks like Ghost Reaver and Zealot's Oath are the only things keeping you alive. I'm honestly surprised you haven't been 1-shot yet.

you REALLY need more life, the chaos mobs in merciless will 1shot you since you are not CI anymore, with no life nodes you will get 1 shot and im not exaggeration.

I really like that you made use of lightning warp though, most people say its a bad skill and you're making it look pretty good
