RoA + Chin Sol/point blank

Hi,

need advice on Rain of Arrow and Chin Sol. If I fire far from me the bonus damage still apply?
Same goes for point blank passive/gem.

Why would it, it says 'at close range'. It doesn't have the penalty at long range like point blank but you won't get the bonus either, damage dropoff formula is assumed to be the same as point blank.

The bonus is calculated from point of origin to the enemy struck, so even if you had huge AoE with Rain of Arrows and fired close to you damage would drop off further for enemies at the edge of affected area.
