Spawing of Minions causes server latency spikes with Rampage enabled

When minions are spawned with enough monsters on the screen, server(s) lag significantly and sometimes go past 1000 ping. When I used Lockstep with this I actually had fully disconnected once. Rampage effects still cause server spikes with this setup. I cast 5 zombies, 30ish Summon Raging Spirits, and Vaal Summon Skeletons. When other enemy monsters spawn from Beyond portals the lag climbs unbearably high. This occurs when i'm playing solo and with a party. Take note of the latency spikes in the screenshots.

Same issues. Play SRS and run some zombies. Even just using SRS lags my whole party when Rampage hits a tier. When rampage was turned off last night it 100% stopped lagging.

I am sure ISPs play a part in how badly this affects players, but it is clearly not optimised with lock-step and many characters/minions.

Please turn this off untill its truly fixed. This is unplayable.

I'm playing dominating blow using flesh and spirit gloves and this actually makes the game unplayable. It looks like a powerpoint presentation with lockstep turned on. Constant ms spikes going up to ~300-400. I actually cannot play the game like this. When swapping to other gloves the game plays normally (30ms constant).

Here's a screenshot of what im talking about... Look at the latency... without the rampage effect I get a solid 30ms on DC gateway.
